2025: this annual value is the official annual figure published by BLS. The monthly All Items observation for October 2025 was not published, so the calendar year behind it is missing a month — it is not a twelve-month average.

How this calculation works

Equivalent value = Original amount × (Ending CPI ÷ Starting CPI)
